CLIMBERS/RAMBLERS

Climbers generally have increased vigor compared to bush roses and will grow tall (usually up to 10-12 feet) over years unless suffering from cold damage. They also rebloom. Ramblers are way more cold-hardy and can take neglect. They throw long canes to wrap around (i.e. rambles) fences, buildings and other structures for up to 20 ft or more over 5-6 years. They only bloom once a year for 3-4 weeks and put up a spectacular show. They are also harder to find.
