Antique or 'Old' Roses

Classically, antique roses roses from 19th Century or before. However in 2025, many 20th century roses have also bec ome antiques and are included here. They can bloom once (moss, gallicas etc.) or multiple times (hybrid perpetuals, portlands and bourbon classes). They are usually tough as nails and have survived for decades in old gardens, churches and cemeteries with little or no care. These roses are having a revival in recent years because of their historical and nostalgic values.
